For the first part of my project I had to take two pictures of myself to use as a template. One picture of a front view of my face and the other, a side view of my head.
After embarasingly taking some bad pictures of myself I put them into Adobe Photoshop side by side and began to make small changes to the pictures. On first glance I noticed that they were slightly distorted and out of line. For example on the first picture my face was slightly tilted down compared to the other picture. To make sure that both of the pictures appeared similar I used the lens correction tool under the Filter>Distort menu. This tool I used and how I manipulated it is shown below.
To make sure that both pictures of my face were definitely in line I used rulers to line up each part of my face. I pushed ctrl-H and used rulers to lie up my eyes, my nose, my chin and several other aspects of my face.
After making some small changes this is the template that I would be working on the draw out the topology of my face.
